You finished the product photo. You picked the aspect ratios. Now you're staring at an empty headline field, typing "Get 20% Off Today" for the ninth campaign in a row.
That's the part of ad-making nobody automated. Images got fast. Video got fast. Copy stayed a blank text box and a blinking cursor.
Coinis Ad Studio's generate_ad_copy tool closes that gap the same way the image tools did: point it at a real page, point it at a real creative, and it writes the headline, primary text, and description from what's actually on the page. Not a generic template. Not five variations of "Shop Now." The actual claims, the actual product name, the actual offer, turned into ad copy that matches what a click leads to.
What happened when we tested it
We built one product ad end to end inside Ad Studio, the way an advertiser actually would.
Step 1: generate the visual. Using generate_image_templates, we created a feature-callout square ad from a real product source. This is the tool behind one-photo, every-format fan-out that Coinis added in July, and it's the natural first move for anyone who doesn't have a photographer on staff.
Step 2: point the copy tool at the landing page. generate_ad_copy takes two things: the generatedCreativeId of the image from step 1, and a landingPageUrl. It reads the page, pulls out the actual value proposition, and writes copy that matches the creative's context rather than guessing.
Within about 40 seconds, the creative in the Ad Studio library had a full copy set attached, generated from https://coinis.com/ against the exact creative above. Here is the real output, unedited:
Headline: AI Ads in Minutes ๐
Primary text: Tired of endless ad production? Coinis lets you generate launch-ready AI video and image ads in minutes, just by talking to your AI. Upload a photo or paste a link, get a realistic ad. No filming, no editing required. See how easy it is to launch your next campaign!
Description: Get launch-ready ads fast
No generic filler. No "revolutionary new way to" openers. The copy named the actual product category and workflow because the tool read them off the real page, not a prompt we wrote.
Why this matters more than it sounds like it should
Ad copy is the piece performance marketers under-invest in relative to how much it moves results. Meta's own creative research is blunt about this: campaigns that lean into genuine creative diversification, not just visual A/B tests, see measurably different engagement, and Meta has published that text-generation features specifically deliver a 3% higher click-through rate over static copy on the same visual (Meta for Business, "Demystifying Creative Diversification," December 2025, https://www.facebook.com/business/news/demystifying-creative-diversification).
The problem isn't that marketers don't know copy matters. It's that copy is slow to produce well. A good headline needs to match the exact promise on the landing page you're linking to, or the ad and the page fight each other and Quality Score (or Meta's relevance signals) drops. Most teams solve this by writing copy once, reusing it across ten creatives, and hoping nobody notices the mismatch. generate_ad_copy solves the actual bottleneck: it derives copy from the destination page every time, so the ad and the page never drift apart.
How to run this yourself in Ad Studio
- Generate or pick a creative. Use
generate_image_templatesfor a fresh product shot, or pull an existing library creative.generate_ad_copyattaches copy to a creative that already exists, it doesn't mint a new one. - Have your landing page URL ready. This is the source of truth for the copy. If your landing page copy is thin or vague, the generated ad copy will be too, this tool amplifies what's on the page, it doesn't invent claims that aren't there.
- Run the copy generation. Pass the creative ID and the URL. There's no prompt field to fill in, no tone picker to fuss over, the tool reads the page and writes from it directly.
- Review before you launch. Even with a real source page, always read the output once. It's derived copy, not guaranteed-final copy, and platform character limits still apply.
- Scale the pattern. Generate three or four creative variants with
generate_image_templates, then rungenerate_ad_copyagainst each with the same landing page. You get genuinely diversified assets, distinct visuals, matched copy, instead of one image with five recolored headlines slapped on top.
The part that's easy to miss
generate_ad_copy is free to run. Unlike every other generation tool in Ad Studio, there's no token cost preview because there's no token cost. Coinis built it as a zero-friction add-on step, not a separate spend decision. That changes the math on how often you should use it: there's no reason to reuse stale copy across a new batch of creatives when attaching fresh, page-matched copy costs nothing extra.
It also can't work in isolation. The tool needs an existing creative and a real URL, it's the second half of a two-step move, not a standalone generator. If you're building visuals and copy together for the first time, generate the image first, confirm the creative ID, then run the copy step against it. Trying to skip straight to copy without a creative in hand just won't fire.
Turn this into a repeatable ad pipeline
The individual pieces, image generation, aspect-ratio fan-out, landing-page-matched copy, are useful on their own. The reason Coinis built them as one connected system is that ad production isn't actually three separate jobs. It's one job: turn a product and a page into a launch-ready ad, fast enough that testing five creative directions costs the same effort as testing one.
That's the Ad Studio pitch specifically. Marketplace access to image and video models gets you the raw generation, plenty of tools offer that now, as we covered when an AI ad agent builds a launch-ready ad from one sentence. The differentiator is the template-to-launch-ready pipeline: pick a template, generate the visual, attach the copy, and you have something you can actually put in front of an ad account, not just an image sitting in a folder waiting for someone to write words for it.
If you've been treating ad copy as the thing you do last, try running it first in your head: pick the landing page, generate the visual that matches it, then let generate_ad_copy close the loop. The same underlying pipeline is what powers ad creative fatigue fixes for mobile games and before-after transformation ads. Build your next ad in Ad Studio and see the whole pipeline run in one sitting.
FAQ
Does generate_ad_copy work with any landing page? Yes, it needs a real, reachable URL. The quality of the output depends on the quality of the page, a page with a clear, specific value proposition produces sharper copy than a thin or generic one.
Can I edit the generated copy afterward? Yes. Treat it as a strong first draft grounded in your real page content, not a final, unchangeable output. Review headline length and platform-specific character limits before publishing.
Does this replace a copywriter? It replaces the blank-page problem, not the judgment call. For high-stakes campaigns, use the generated copy as your starting point and have a human sanity-check tone and claims before spend goes live.
What's the difference between this and just asking a chatbot to write ad copy? A general chatbot doesn't know your actual landing page content unless you paste it in manually, and it doesn't attach the result to a real creative in your ad library. generate_ad_copy reads the live page directly and writes straight onto the creative you're about to launch, so there's no copy-paste step and no drift between what the ad promises and what the page delivers.
Is there a cost to run it? No. It's the one generation tool in Ad Studio with no token cost, run it as often as you refresh creatives.
